Bioinformatics Group Meetings

Mission

For the last several years, bioinformatics faculty in the SKCCC Division of Quantitative Sciences have held a joint lab meeting to share our work and learn from each other. These weekly meetings are focused on constructive discussion about active or future projects on computational methodology. Our hope is to foster an informal atmosphere where presenters share their methodological approaches/recent findings or discuss interesting methods they wish to apply. Our aim is to have PIs and students from the Quantitative Sciences division, as well as bioinformaticians across the SKCCC, present in these meetings. The meetings are held in a hybrid format, and for those attending in person we have coffee and cookies to keep the discussion fueled.
